Notable Metrist-Reported Downtime

While these outages didn’t make the news, these issues caught by Metrist may have affected your company’s app and operations. 

 

Azure

  • Azure CDN’s PurgeFile was not responding from Azure Central US for 25 minutes on the 24th

 

GCP

  • GCP Compute Engine’s DeleteInstance is not responding from GCP US Central 1 for 42 minutes on the 20th
  • GCP App Engine’s AutoScaleUp is not responding from GCP US Central 1 for 10 minutes on the 23rd

 

Saas/Other

  • New Relic was unable to OpenSyntheticsUI from US West 2 for three 10-minute periods on the 20th, then for four 10-20 minute periods on the 23rd. The software was also unable to CheckEvent from US East 1 for 5 minutes and 30 minutes on the 21st. CheckMetric was not responding from US East 1 for 12 minutes on the 22nd and DeleteSyntheticMonitor was not responding from US West 2 for 1 hour 29 minutes on the 25th.
  • Datadog was unable to Retrieving events from US West 2 for 30 minutes on the 20th.

 

 

  • Zoom was unable to Join Call from the following regions on the following days: 
    • JoinCall is not responding from CA Central 1 for 38 minutes on the 21st
    • JoinCall is not responding from US West 2 for 19 minutes on the 23rd
    • JoinCall is not responding from CA Central 1 for 9 minutes on the 23rd
    • JoinCall is not responding from US West 2 for 19 minutes on the 25th
    • JoinCall is not responding from CA Central 1 for 22 minutes on the 25th
  • Twilio Video was unable to JoinRoom from US East 2 for 12 minutes on the 23rd
