Notable Metrist-Reported Downtime
While these outages didn’t make the news, these issues caught by Metrist may have affected your company’s app and operations. The biggest incidents of the week belonged to Azure CDN and New Relic which occurred over the 4th and 5th.
AWS
- AWS RDS. CreateInstance was was not responding from CA Central 1 for 15 min on the 30th
Azure
- Azure Cosmos DB. CreateCosmosAccount was not responding from Azure East US 2 for 1h18min on the 31st
- Azure SQL. CreateSqlServer was not responding from Azure East US for 8 min on the 3rd and CreateSqlServer was not responding from Azure East US for 11min on the 4th.
- Azure AKS. CreateCluster was not responding from Azure Central US for 34min on the 5th
- Azure CDN. DeleteFile was not responding from Azure East US for 15 min on the 30th. And UpdateFile was was not responding from Azure East US 2 for several 1-20 hour intervals over the course of the 31st to the 4th as follows:

GCP
- GCP App Engine was unable to Migrate Traffic from GCP US Central 1 for 10 minutes on the 31st.
Saas/Other
- New Relic had a number of events, mainly on the 4th and 5th. CheckEvent was not responding from US West 1 for 18 min and again for 13 mins on the 31st.
